Chanakya University – A ray of light for Indian knowledge system.
A ray of light for Indian knowledge system. An event that brought together the greatest minds of this nation on one platform. Recently we got an enticing opportunity to capture the simplicity of the legends of academia .
Covering the advisory board conference of the brand new Chanakya University was an honour to say the least. Thirty people of the highest order like Prof. Kasturirangan, Dr. Sunaina Singh, T.V Mohandas Pai, Prof. Majul Bhargav, Sir Kris Gopalakrishnan, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw along with the Chancellor Prof. M.K. Sridhar and Vice chancellor of Chanakya University Prof Yashvant Dongre and other dignitaries from various schools of thought on one platform.
This amalgamation of authority coming together as the advisory board of Chanakya University to mark the beginning of an exceptional education institution.
As storytellers we got the opportunity to capture the essence of this event and not just that, we also got the opportunity to learn and grasp the thoughts that were discussed.
The pride in the rich culture and tradition of our nation and the goal of implicating the Indian knowledge system to shape the young minds of our country was a delight to witness.
The highlight of the day would still be capturing the humility and humbleness of each individual in-front of the camera, the subtle curiosity of how the head-shots will look, the diffidence, and the smiles.
This experience was the coming to life of a verse of Sanskrit shloka –
नमन्ति फलिनो वृक्षा, नमन्ति गुणिनो जनाः
शुष्ककाष्श्च मूर्खश्च न नमन्ति कदाचन ||
i.e The branches of a tree laden with fruit bend downward just as the wise bow down out of respect to others. The unwise are like the dry logs that never bend.
